Marx Locksmith is a local Michigan company, designed to assist you in your security needs. We provide a wide array of services to Grand Blanc and the surrounding areas. Our company started in 1999 with only a few residential and commercial customers. The company began to grow, eventually serving over 500 customers in 2004. In 2005 our company acquired Troy’s Lock & Safe, doubling our company’s size. Today we serve over 2000 customers each year. What makes our company stand out from others is 1) our attention to customer satisfaction, 2) education for our employees and customers, and 3) providing a cost effective solution to our customers’ needs. Our company is composed of three staff members:
Marc Dearing is the President and Certified Professional Locksmith of our company. Marc has been married to Kathy for 14 years and has 3 boys who attend St. Paul Lutheran School in Flint, MI. Eighteen years ago, Marc began his work as a locksmith when he became an apprentice. After finishing his apprenticeship and becoming a Certified Registered Locksmith in 1999, Marc created Marx Locksmith Service, Inc. He has recently achieved the rank of Certified Professional Locksmith.
Kathy Dearing is the owner of Marx Locksmith Service and heads up the accounting department. Kathy’s main role has been to be a stay at home mom and their business has allowed her to do that. Kathy and Marc were married in 1998 and have three boys, Henry, Christopher, and Luke.
Lindsay Holman is the Office Manager and Dispatcher. When you call the office, you will most likely talk to her, and if you come in the store, she will be the one you can speak to. She has been with Marx Locksmith for over a year and can assist you with cutting keys, re-keying, and just about anything you bring in the store. Lindsay is a junior at the University of Michigan-Flint, studying entrepreneurship and small business management. She is engaged to be married in May of 2012 to her fiancée, Roger.
